The MS3840 Chisel Mortiser on enclosed stand is driven by an aluminium housed 1 Hp motor and has a 6mm to 26mm chisel capacity.

The machine has a cast iron dovetail mounted column, table cross slide and base with work clamp to provide fast and secure clamping of material.

A long operating handle operates the mortising head down feed, counter balanced by a gas filled strut and two hand wheels control both longitudinal and lateral table movements.
