The PT260-2 is a powerful scaled down version of a commercial 12" Planner Thicknesser (PT300) It would suit the Hobbyist or small commercial boat builder or cabinet maker etc. It has a simple and rapid procedure of flipping the Table to convert to Thicknesser keeping parallelism and precision. Steel spiral grooved infeed roller.
Combination thicknesser / planers are useful for woodworkers of all skill levels. Once you have learned how to tune and use your combination machine, you can dimension timber with ease. No workshop, whether enthusiast or professional, should be without proper dimensioning machinery.

The Macma 10" Lift-up Combination Planer is one of the industries easiest machines to change from planer to thicknesser mode. No need to remove the planner Fence or buzzer guard when converting from Planner to Thicknesser. Lift the one-piece worktable. Lower the thicknessing worktable and flip the dust port into position. Go! And because the worktable is made as one piece, no additional alignment or tuning is required.
Solid Cast Iron precision ground tables. Power copper wound Induction motor. Three Knife cutter block.
Option to upgrade to spiral cutter head.
